Accomplishments
Postage Reduction: for a client who mailed a newsletter with the shareholder report by First Class USPS
we were able to reduce his postage for shareholder report mailing by an amount slightly more than his cost
of printing both documents.
Data Conversion: for a family of twenty one money market funds, created a software solution that was fed
from a download from the portfolio accounting system and displayed the correct security description from a
historic database, formatted the S&P or Moody’s short and/or long term ratings, and early call or refunding flags.
This produced a report to the institutional shareholders of the portfolios, their investment returns,
and diversification that was available for mailing by the tenth business day following month end.
Portfolio Presentation: developed the first pc based software for the processing of downloaded portfolio
data into format for shareholder report presentation. With a historic database of security titles specific
for the fund, the fund group, or generic and a classification structure that could also be employed at the portfolio,
fund group, or generic level to present the portfolio in accord with the investment manager’s schema.
